I have read the tutorial you have on this for setting up a home network with one wired PC and a wireless laptop. I can see and share my laptop files with my home pc but I can't seem to share my home pc files and printer with my laptop. I used the wizard to set up the newtork. Both have the workgroup name MSHome. My home pc does show up in the workgroup but if I try to enter it I get "You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server for find out if you have access permissions. On my home pc I AM sharing files and my printer and it does not show up as shared under my network places. I even tried to add the printer mainually with \\server\printer with access denied once again. My home pc is running Windows XP Home and my laptop is running Windows XP media. Everything I am trying to share on my home pc is set up as shared. Oh and I can ping my home pc but I can't ping my laptop. Both PC's are connected to the internet and working just fine with the internet. Can anyone help me with this problem? Am I missing something?
