Having some trouble with Windows Media Player

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble with Windows Media Player 10 - when i click on a file, it loads up and then says that there is no internet connection. Let me know if there is anything i can do.

I havent used any other players. This is really the only one i have and use.

Try this to see if you get the same results

You can also click start, control panel, add and remove, tick show updates, click to remove media player and it will roll back to version 9

If you still get the same thing with version 9 then we can look at it further

the other player worked fine, but i would rather use WMP because i am so used to it.
