Does anyone know of a FREE text editor program that will sort a list A to Z????
I know the PAID verison of EDIT PAD PRO does but I don't want to shell money
just for that feature.

Hey chimchim,

just use Microsoft Word.

After entering your entries, just go to Table->Sort and then hit OK

How about a FREE office suite? Openoffice.org is a complete office suite, compatible with all their respective Microsoft counterparts. This means you can open up, and edit, a Microsoft Word document in Openoffice.org's word processor, etc. Openoffice.org includes; WRITER, their word processor; CALC, their spreadsheet program; IMPRESS, their presentation software; and finally DRAW, that you can use to make impressive graphics. Of course it has no spyware or anything like that. Why wouldn't recommend junk like that! This is a quality, open-source, and most importantly FREE office suite. Go here for more!
