Hi Gargoyle,

I know that computer problems can be very frustrating but lets see if I can help you with your computer. The first thing I would do is to run a full virus scan to see if your problem is a virus. After the virus scan finishes I would then run a spyware scan. There is a lot of spyware on the internet especially on programs that you download. If you do not have a spyware program on your computer I recommend Spybot Search and Destroy highly. You can download it off the internet and it is free to use. I would also download and run Ad-Aware, which is another highly recommened spyware software, which you can download a free trial from http://www.download.com.

After running these scans see if you computer is running faster. A virus or spyware might be the whole problem you are having with your computer. Please let me know how your system is operating after you run these scans.

Glenn

Hi,

First I want to say thank you Mr. Gilbert WOW! I will let u know what happens (Ill do the "fix" next week when time allows. 2nd even if it doesn't fix my problem (witch I know it will) all the great info u gave me is FANTASTIC! The internet is a cool place, even a Dork like me can fix my computer without taking it BACK to an expensive shop witch is a waste of time & lots of $$$$ :whistling: ! Well I am so glad I found u & I promise Ill be back on a regular basis for all my computer needs! I plan on doing my own website now too, I just went from Dork to know it all in just 1 stop here!
