Hi all.. If I connect computer on the router how do I found out what IP adress standard the router is using without the DHCP? for exaple if the router is setted to 192.168.3.1 (usually the default IP address is 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.2) how do I found that out? also what's is the differce between the subnet 255.0.0.0 and 255.255.255.0? sorry about the questions but I could not find similar answer anywhere erlse.

Hi there digitaly

For basic info go to Start Menu -> run -> type in cmd (to open shell window) -> type in ipconfig and hit the return key
Or for extended info - Start -> run -> cmd -> ipconfig /all

This will return the internal address of the machine conencted to the router, if for any reason you should need the external address simply navigate to http://www.dslreports.com/ip
