Ok lets get this back on track. A couple questions. Has your E-mail issue stopped? How is the computer behaving in general (popups etc.)? Are you still unable to download anything and if so can you post the exact error message you get when you try.

HI LOOPHOLE :blink:

My computer is better but not great. Now when I go out on Web sites and select a hyperlink it says I'm not authorized. I can go out to antivirus sites now. On a side note, I am trying to go out and search on limewire and it can't get past my firewall (which is new because I've used it before) - not sure if that's related or not - but frustrating non the less. I do appreciate your help on all of this - this could be a record for the longest posting yet.

Can you try something for me? do you have any other accounts on the computer? Can you log into one of them if you do and see if you can download anything?

I did check and I get the same error. I went out to the limewire site and when i went to dowload it it gave me the unauthorized error.
