In my program files I found a file that I did not know what it was:

BTIEIN.DLL

could this be part of the source of my problems?

"Look2me" I have not been able to permenantly remove yet. Still shows up as a registry key in Spybot and can be removed then, but always comes back.

I have not been able to run "Kill2me" or "killbox" as my download screen just starts flashing on and off.

Yes, this is pretty common spyware (Huntbar). Strange thing is it's not showing on your log. :D

After much pressure it seems as though look2me has released an installer that actually works. <_<

http://www.look2me.c...bin/UnInstaller does in fact remove this piece of "****" without any leftovers or issues. Please share with us how it works for you. :D

<_<

So far so good!! I deleted the BTIEIN.DLL first, rebooted and then ran the UnInstaller off of a 3 1/2. Wasn't sure if it worked at first, messed up my desktop and asked me to restore it but I rebooted instead. I also ran CWShredder and Spybot when I got done and neither found anything :D . One thing I did use as a "test" that did not work was trying to go ahead and install the "kill2me" just to see if it would install but I still am getting the same result (flashing download box), so makes me suspicious that there is something lingering.

I've had IE up and running for about 15min without any popups.

I'm going to go ahead and post my newest HiJack Log too, just in case there is anything else that catches your eye that I need to do.

I appreciate everyones help so much!!

Sheila :D

This entries up to no good:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mdac_runonce] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\runonce.exe

Fix it and your system should be clear. <_< To keep it that way, be sure to keep Spywareblaster up-to-date, run Ad-aware ocassionally, and keep Windows updated. :D
