Hi, i was wondering if anyone can help?

I just got a trojan virus that killed everything on my computer once i tried to kill it with Norton. This means i cant open anything, not even basic programs like, Windowns Media, Word or Paint. I Tried [run] msconfig, and the add/remove programs but still nothing. I can't burn the files to a disk and only my MP3 player saved them.

I have the recovery CDs and i'm trying to reinstall XP to the computer. While it boots up with the disk in the drive i press F2 and that leads me to 2 options. One is continue to load windows, the second is load from cd:rom. This is what i want it to do but it then comes up with A:\>
What does this mean? What do i type? Why doesn't it just say click here to make it all good again?!

I tried typing things that might cause a reaction asides from [Bad command] and SET caused this to come up.

CONFIG=BOOT_TO_CMD
PROMPT=$P$G
COMSPEC=A:\COMMAND.COM
EXPAND=YES
DIRCMD=/O:N
TEMP=C:\
TMP=C:\
PATH=A:\
CMDUNE=em_lock.exe

I don't understand that either. I just want my computer to work again.
Please help :tazz:
