i recently reformatted my harddrive and installed win xp. ever since, i have been having serious sound problems. its as if the sound is dropping out and scratchy, movies are out of sync etc. i updated the driver and everything seemed ok. when i next started the machine up, the problem returned. if i roll back the driver or update it, or if i disable and re enable the device, everything is fine, until i switch the machine off and restart, then the problem returns until i do the same thing again.
any ideas?
