formatting stopping at 91 %

Hi guys new to this forum so take it easy on me ,but here goes here is my problem,i am currently trying to do a reinstall on my laptop but every time durring the formatting stage it runs fine then stops at 91% it has now done this 3 times ,not really sure what to do next,but i am lucky that i have another pc so that i can post on here,thx in advance, holmesy

The first thing I would do is go to manufacture of the hard drive and download their tools, run the utilities to check out the drive.
