My USB ports show in Device Manager as working properly but when I plug anything into them nothing happens. I have four directly on the Motherboard and two at the front of the tower connected. Any help or suggestions would be welcomed.

Hi. Did the USB ports work at one time and suddently stopped working? Have you installed any hardware or software that may have caused this? If the ports were working at one time, have you tried doing a system restore? It would be helpful to post your full system specs when you reply as this will assist those who want to try to help you.

Yes they all worked. I had a hard drive failure screen - took computer apart reconnected hard-drives and everything worked except for USB ports. If you need anymore info please let me know.
