comuter wont boot please help

Hi I have a dell dimension 4600 and when i turn it on it says the following




Dell Dimension 4600 series
Bios version A06
www.dell.com

Sata primary drive 0 not found
Sata secondary drive 0 not found
Primary drive 1 not found
secondary drive 1 not found

Type the password and
-----press enter to enable password
-----press ctrl-enter to disable password security


Please can someone help me i am gettin so frustrated what can i do does anyone have any ideas? I would greatly appreciate it thank you

Press the power button and keep tapping F8 until you get options, choose safe mode, select the administrator account

quick question -

how many drives (HDD and DVD/CD Roms) do you have attached to your computer?

what sometimes helps me is remove all the leads from the drives inside the computer, leave it off for about 10mins, then power on, then turn off again when suitable then reconnect drives and try again

works for me sometimes, can't hurt to try!!
