My computer gets about half-way through installation of Internet Explorer 6, and then gets a message that several of the applications can't be successfully installed, including the IE Browser. Upon repeated attempts, I get a message telling me that "it appears you have the correct setup files, but the installation failed", and then suggests I contact Microsoft product support services. Despite all this, I can still use IE afterwards, but don't have access to some of the applications that I need. Any ideas?

Are you installing from your install cd or from Micro$oft's IE 6.0 download site?

You might want to read Admin's Repair Internet Explorer 6.0 for more info.
