Hi all, I was doing a bit of maintenance on my Windows XP-SP2 Home Edition PC this morning. I opened my System's "Scheduled Tasks" and found 3 tasks that are not familiar. I don't have any other problems or symptoms with this computer. My question is where did these tasks come from? Did some legitimate program add these? Did a Microsoft Update add these? Or, have I been infected with something that I need to jump over to the "Malware" topic section. Here are the Tasks:
----
1) C:\WINDOWS\system32\mobsync.exe /Schedule="{65210E97-8715-4F2F-ADFB-E58AAF16BA2C}_CURLEY_Andy"

2) C:\WINDOWS\system32\mobsync.exe /Schedule="{F1313EC6-6D81-4A06-9650-F1FB5E8826AD}_CURLEY_Andy"

3) C:\WINDOWS\system32\mobsync.exe /Schedule="{FAB7B97A-6993-42A2-A640-A32C1328A8AD}_CURLEY_Andy"
----

The first one is scheduled to run at 9:00AM every M-F and shows a start date of 1/1/1970
The second one is scheduled to run at 4:00PM every M-F and shows a start date of 1/1/1970
The third one is scheduled to run at 4:00PM every Fri only and shows a start date of 1/1/1970

These certainly seem very odd to me.

Additional information:

Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, FireWall SW: ZoneAlarm
Regularly update and run: Ad-Aware & Spybot including Spybot SD Resident

Thanks for any and all help!

Ok, if anyone is interested, I believe I've found the answer. It appears that my Microsoft ActiveSync program added these "mobsync.exe" tasks. I recently upgraded to ActiveSync v4.1 and these must have been added to my Scheduled Tasks at that time.

Sorry about asking the question then answering it myself.
