Hi,
I can't get the mic to work.
Wen to control panel, unchecked mute, adjusted volume.
reinstalled sound drivers.
reinstalled sound max.

don't know what else to do.
please help.

Yes.
Used Tune Up Utilities to optimize.
Repaired XP.
And used a command in RUN that I forgot whta it is,
that goes ahead and checks the necessary files missing from the XP CD
and reinstalls them.
disabled microsoft TCP/IP v6.0
