in the control panel on 98 is this entry for ODBC and lists foxpro configs.

can someone enlighten me as to what it does and controls. once long agoi attempted to install mandrake (to no avail due to command line ignorance)

could this be a leftover from my lame quest for a good OS?

ODBC stands for "Open Database Connectivity" and is a method used to allow different database applications to share data with each other and with the user.
