Hello,

Lately I have been experiencing a LOT of computer problems. I haven't had any strange popups or any kind of virus notification, but it seems that my computer has been absolutely DYING every few minutes. About twenty minutes ago, I logged on and immediately ran AOL Instant Messenger and Firefox. They both took a little time to open, but I guess that is pretty normal. As soon as they both got loaded up, my computer just started freezing like never before. I could still move my mouse, but Firefox usually showed only a white screen and both programs were simply unresponsive for the most part. It's been a long time since I've used this forum, anf if I remember correctly it was a great help last time. I run AVG AntiVirus and Sygate Personal Firewall at all times. I actually haven't been on the computer that much lately, and haven't used anything but AIM and Firefox, but then again this is a family computer, so hopefully no one has been up to no good. I'm going to post a HijackThis log from a few minutes ago. If the rules have changed, and I need to attatch the log or anything I will do so. Thanks in advance.

Perform an online scan with Internet Explorer at Panda ActiveScan http://www.pandasoft.../activescan.htm

* Click on 'Scan your PC' button. There should be a popup - if you have a pop-up blocker, make sure it's not blocking it.
* Click 'Check Now' & a pop-up window will appear.
* Enter your Country, State and E-mail Address & click 'Scan Now' - begin downloading Panda's ActiveX controls (8 MB size).
* Begin the scan by selecting My Computer.
* If it finds any malware, it will offer you a report. Ignore any entry it finds (since it wants you to buy the program for removal) as we will address this later.
* Click on see report. Then click Save report.
* Post that log in your next reply.
