Is there anyway to make a homemade wireless antenna for my laptop? Ive heard this could be done with copper speaker wire & taping it to my wireless card. But I also heard the speaker wire has to point straight up & the antenna has to be a very specific legnth.Or could i use our cables satellite dish as an antenna? So If it is possible to make a homemade antenna I would like to know how? Please & Thank You!

You guys are great! I'm already rummaging through the pots and pans cupboard for a suitable implement to use but I may just try the sardine tin trick first over the USB adpator! My Router modem is a livebox with a built in antenna so no chance of using the Windsurfer!
