heretic multiplayer

I'm not new to computers. But I've been playing heretic since I was 3, and I'd like to play my dad on it, we both have heretic installed, single player works fine. We also use a program called "dosbox" it emulates old dos games so they can be played on the newer OS's, but, when I choose to run a multiplayer game, it doens't work. Even when I try outside of DOSbox, it quits out, can someone help me here?

Checkout this site www.doomsdayhq.com its the best port around that I'v seen so far. You can also download texture and music packs from this site makes it look as good as quake 3 :tazz:
