I know that in Windows XP sp2, using an intel internal card, i can configure the wireless card's signal strength from low-high to save battery power. under wireless network connection> properties>configure
Is there a similar feature on a macintosh powerbook wireless settings to do this? could this be whats causing the issue? and if not, what could be??
Using Netstumbler on my Thinkpad in the same spot i receive a pretty steady -50 to -60 signal so I dont think its simply a dead spot.
