Hello.

I just ordered a new computer without a monitor. I have an old monitor and wanted to be sure that I can just plug it in the new PC.

My OLD PC: E-Machines W3107 (Monitor is 15 in. Flat-screen CRT)

My NEW PC: HP Pavillion A1620N

I didn't think about this untill I had already ordered the new PC, but I won't have any problems just plugging in the old monitor right? I just assumed that the XP operating system would accept almost any monitor.

Thanks.

You should be fine. I have never seen a monitor PC conflict. Not to say that doesnt happen but XP should be ok.
