error with software restore on Mac G4 os10.1.2

Hey I'm trying to wipe clean my old mac G4 so I can sell it and it hit an error that says

"could not restore the restricted-segment image"

I'm stuck here... and my old OS is not accessible anymore. What should I do???

I have the same problem as frankvb:

I've run the diagnostics cd and that comes up with no problems.
