im new to this so please be patient....

i have downloaded the other day AVG. run a scan and found a Troyan backdoor virus.

even after cleaning.. i started having problems.. then i turned of the pc and since then i can not start up windows in regular mode.. the pc starts with the windows logo and the "wait"- bar.. then turns black and re-boots.. over and over, until i hit F8 in safe mode.

i run today all the recommendet steps to remove junk and viruses..
the clean-up removed 650mb of junk... oups..
the avg found the troyan and removed it..

i tried at the end to update windows, but get an error code .. 0X8007043C before it even starts downloading.. maybe because im still in safe mode ?

any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you scan your pc for spyware?

i ran clean-up, cwshredder, ad -aware se, skybot, avg anti spyware, avg virus scan,

i have pc-doctor that came with my pc and i checked the memory, which i recently updated.. came up with no problems either

I dont think its the memory, it seems like that virus really messed your PC up.

Try the malware forum.

Get Hi-jack-this and post a log in the malware forum and see if they can help you out.

i already run hi jack, but did not find any suspicious... i will post it in the other forum anyway.

could it be a lost driver that causes the computer to boot over and over again?

Post it in that forum. Believe me, Hi-jack this logs are very hard to read. they take years of practice.

It could also be a failing power supply.
