I've splashed coffee on the keyboard of my Acer Travelmate 270. Now, I can't type the letter "p". The only way I can use that letter is to copy and paste it into my text. Can anyone tell me how to take the keyboard out so I can clean it. The manual doesn't say anything about keyboard removal. I am a TAFE student and need it to do my assignments. please help. I am desperate.

Google for a guide, usually if you remove the back there is a couple screws holding it in place you can remove them and prize it free however it varies laptop to laptop, google it or contact acer tech support someone somewhere i guarantee you has asked the question and got the answer. There are actually websites with repositries of dissasembly guides for laptops.

Thanks heaps. I really appreciate your input. I've just found a site where I downloaded the service manual for an Acer Travelmate 430. It looks very similar so I'll have a look and see if the info from that is the same as my 270.
