HP lj3200 printer that I have had working just fine for many years now decides that it does not want to get a dial tone. It still senses an incoming call and picks up but it does not "hear" a dial tone. Same thing when trying to send faxes.

I have done the obvious of checking the phone line, hooking up a telephone and making calls to be sure it works, etc.

Don't know why it won't get the dial tone. Any suggestions? :whistling:

I feel that it would be best to contact HP directly about this, they have both a forum
http://forums1.itrc....threadId=995182
and a direct contact
http://welcome.hp.co...contact_us.html
this is not actually a computer, nor its peripheral but an indipendant printer
