Hello and Welcome. :whistling:

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri). Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix Folder, then double-click smitfraudfix.cmd file to start the tool.
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and pressing Enter. Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.
You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry?" answer Yes by typing Y and hitting Enter.
The tool will also check if wininet.dll is infected. If a clean version is found, you will be prompted to replace wininet.dll. Answer Yes to the question "Replace infected file?" by typing Y and hitting Enter.

A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. If your computer does not restart automatically please do it yourself manually. Reboot in Safe Mode.

The tool will create a log, and will locate it at C:\rapport.txt. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.

Download and install Ewido Anti-malware, then double-click the desktop icon to start Ewido. You will now need to update Ewido to the latest definition files.
  • On the top of the main screen, click Shield.
  • Click on the word active to change it to inactive
  • On the top of the main screen click Update.
  • Then click on Start Update. The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed. If you have problems with the updater, you can use Ewido's manual updater instead.
  • Once the update has completed, select the Scanner icon at the top of the screen, then select the Settings tab.
  • On the Settings screen, under the section How to act?, click on Recommended actions and then select Quarantine.
  • Under the section Reports, select Automatically generate report after every scan and un-select Only if threats were found.
Close all open windows and please do not open any new windows during the course of this scan. Open Ewido.
  • Click on Scanner.
  • Select the Scan tab.
  • Click Complete System Scan to begin scanning.
  • Once the scan is complete, if you have any infections, you will prompted to take action. Select Apply all actions at the prompt, if applicable. If you do not have any infections, there will be no prompt.
  • Click the Save report button, then click Save Report As and save it to your desktop. It is important save this file and remember where it is saved, we'll need to see it later.
  • Exit Ewido.
Open HijackThis, click Config, click Misc Tools
Click "Open Uninstall Manager"
Click "Save List" (generates uninstall_list.txt)
Click Save, copy and paste the results in your next post.

Restart your computer please and post a new HJT log, the Ewido (AVG) log and the uninstall list. :whistling:

AVG Anti-Spyware didn't clean anything. Please make sure to:

On the Settings screen, under the section How to act?, click on Recommended actions and then select Quarantine.

After doing so, update AVG Anti-Spyware and scan again and save the log.

Go Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall:
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3
Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_03

You need to update your version of Java to help prevent further infections. Please follow these instructions:
  • Go to Start -> Control Panel. Double-click on the Java Icon (coffee cup) in the Control Panel (it will say Java Plug-in under the icon). If it is not visible, click on Switch to Classic View in the left pane of the Control Panel or Other Control Panel Options.
  • Please find the Update button or tab in the Java Control Panel. Update your Java then reboot.
If you are unable to automatically update, you can manually update by going here: http://www.java.com/...load/manual.jsp
  • After the reboot, go back into the Control Panel and double-click the Java Icon.
  • Under the Advanced Tab, click <Applet> tag support and select the browser(s) you are using.
  • Under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files button.
  • There are three options in the window to clear the cache - leave all three checked
    • Downloaded Applets
    • Downloaded Applications
    • Other Files
  • Click OK on the Delete Temporary Files window
Note: This deletes all of the Downloaded Applications and Applets from the cache
  • Click OK to leave the Java Control Panel.
Restart your computer and post a new HJT log please and the AVG log please. :whistling:
