Im running...

Windows XP Pro
Asus Board
ATI x700 graphics
AMD 3200+

I have been told to be cautious when upgrading to a P4 3.4Ghz on an ASUS board, with a PNY 7300GS graphics card, becuase driver conflicts may cause the machine to blue screen.

Is this true? and are there any other issues i should look out for...

Thanks (Y)

Any time you do a major hardware change, like changing the motherboard of your computer, it is always a good idea to do a fresh install of XP after the change so things run as smooth as possibly. If doing a fresh install isn't an option for you, then you will at least have to do a repair installation (see link in my signature).
