trojan.vundo - questions

Hey ... norton discovered that i have a trojan.vundo on my comp. attached to win238.tmp in my windows/temp file..... i just wanted to make sure before i do anything that that is just a pointless file, and fixing it the way you guys suggest won't make anything else on my computer disappear. I've been having difficulties with it lately, by downloading other virus scans that don't let me onto the internet, needless to say i had to uninstall them.
i also wanted to ask how good the AVG Anti-spyware is?, and what exactly is Panda Activescan?
and what is ATF cleaner, and can i use it on internet explorer??
