Outlook 2002 and Norton internet Security 2005

I just recently installed norton internet security and now intermittently my computer doesn't want to send/receive but you can restart the computer and it will work.... and sometimes my computer will lock up.

Try disabling the scanning of out going mail it is not needed. It could also been that the nortan is not installed properly install. Next time try chose the options it gives you when you install any program.
