 Harddrive crashed - connected it to new HD as slave and when I click on it in My Computer I get the message (The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable). Is there any way to access the files on the HD.
Thank you

You can try running the hard drive manufacturer's diagnostics program on the drive. Go to
http://forums.pcper....isplay.php?f=40 There is a sticky post at the top of the forum that has links to most hd manufacturer's diagnostics. Another possible option is Spinrite6 at http://www.grc.com/sr/spinrite.htm
