computer getting slower

I don't know if I should be posting this here but I'll have a go.

I have a LG LW60 laptop Express 1.86GHz centrino, 1 Gg DDR ram and a radeon X600 128MB graphics card.

It just seems the computer is running alot slower than it should be. I've run all the norton utlities like disk doctor, speed disk, anti virus and windoctor. I've used spybot SD and nothing comes up. I've gone through all my startup programs and shut the ones I don't need down. I'm running out of options.

If I can send you some more specs or settings and you can tell me what I do and do not need that would be great.
