I just wanted to thank you again for your help. Once you worked me through making sure my machine was clean I was able to start thinking of some other things. I re-loaded the driver for the drive and the Toshiba power managment software and that seems to have taken care of it. But I would never have thought about that until I was 100% sure it was clean. And that was thanks to you.
