I recently went into the user accounts menu in the control panel and noticed there was an account listed as " ASP.NET Machine A...." it is a limited account and is password protected.

what the [bleep] is it? and should I be worried? and what do i do about it?

Nope, no super hackers for that one, at least not this time. If I remember correctly, if you don't do any programming I think you can delete that account. I am not 100% sure though so don't quote me on it.
