Lost installation cd that came with my cd\dvd writer. writer needs to be reinstalled after my friend tried to change it with another one. I tried searching Sony and did not find anything. I no longer have install disc. Writer is a Sony dvd/cd rewritable drive unit-mod# DRU-710A. Please help. Thank you.

You dont actually need drivers unless it has special non standard functions, otherwise the drivers are built in it should just work as soon as its plugged in which is the reason you dont often find anything on manufacturers websites for optical drives.
