Windows has updated, I'm still only SP1

I have gone to windowsupdate.com to upgrade windows. Everything seems to have gone successfully. I clicked 'yes' to the 'do you want to install and run...' and 'always trust microsoft corp' when it came up on my browser. (i used explorer) But I am still only on Service Pack 1 and can't run all the programs I want to, which require SP2a. Can anyone help?

The first visit does not include SP2, you would get 30 or so updates, a subsequent visit should offer SP2

Windows Update doesn't always offer SP2, it's far more convienant just to download and install it yourself.

The strange thing is, Microsoft seem to have removed all reference to SP2 from the XP section of their website. But you can still get it here:
