Partitioning hard drive

In disk management my 250 gb harddrive has 108 gb of free space. The gigabytes are healthy. They contain all my important files. If i partition the empty space on my hard drive will it erase my healthy gigabytes and all my files

No, I would recommend that you use the program:

Partition Magic 8.0

You can order it from the website or you can head to your local stores to see if they have it in stock. Hope that this helps.
