I may make a minor upgrade to my old Dell Dimension 2300. It has a Pentium 4 2.5, 256mb RAM and onboard video. I was thinking of adding more RAM and adding a video card, it only has a PCI slot so I was wondering what is generally thought of as the best PCI card and do you think it'll be much of a leap from the crappy Intel onboard video? Would it play games such as Morrowind, RTCW, Unreal Tournament ok?

The only problem your gonna have is that Dell hardware is EXTREMELY picky and might not work, unless you buy it from Dell of course :whistling: A decent PCI vid card would be something like a Radeon 256MB 9000. Also, defenetely upgrade that RAM to at least 512. The proc is fine, how many DIMM slots are in the machine?
