Also have you installed any new programs, hardware, updates, ect.
When you see that in the morning are you able to enter in the following key combination:
crtl+alt+del
then try to access the taskmanager.

no even ctrl alt delete does not work its like the computer will not come out of sleep mode or somthing like my moniter is on and my desktop backround is the only thing u can seeHave you done any Virus or Spyware scans?

i have zone alarm for virus and spyware protectionHave you done any Virus or Spyware scans?

when you reboot does the PC act normally?

yes when i reboot it it runs good as new stillhow about the virus scans and software or hardware installs plus any updates.
when you reboot does the PC act normally?

the scans come out cleans i did windows up dates for any hardware and every peace of hardware beside an exteral hard drive belongs to this computer its a 3 mouth old HP a1483whow about the virus scans and software or hardware installs plus any updates.

sometimes certain types of screen savers can cause that problem too.
if not try a system restore to restore your OS to an earlier date before you noticed the problem.
