I downloaded the demo for FEAR today just to try before I buy.. I have it installed and tried to play. All I have is a black screen with sound no images.. I'm running XP sp2 But, I only have the on board sound and grafics. Could this be why I don't see anything? Can I make it work somehow just to see the game? If I like it I will get the proper cards later.

Thanks

No im afraid most onboard graphics solutions wont even start new games like FEAR and if they did they would look and play terribly im afraid if you want to play games you need to invest in at least a graphics card.

Hi,

What are the specs of your PC?
If you don't know then please download and run SysSpec. Run the file > click on the system button > click edit > click copy to clipboard and then paste it with your reply.

Hi,

Your using an Intel integrated graphics card which isn't supported by the game so you'll have to upgrade the graphics card.
