Have been having difficulty lately with e-mail server from ISP. On several occasions, when trying to send e-mails I have beeen getting messages which are as the following:

Task 'pop1.nb.sympatico.ca - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I have been in contact with ISP Technical Support, and been advised that I should cripple e-mail scanning from AVG. I tried testing this by sending myself an email. Same thing happened: above message!

I then unchecked AVG mail incoming and outcoming scanner protection and the message went through, without a hitch. Is this normal.
