After booting up my PC, I tried opening Outlook Express and got this message MSIMN has caused an error in DGI.EXE. Msimn will now close, also the same when I tried opening up IE. My operating system is "ME"

Your help is greatly appreciated ....

Hi Deb306
What version of outlok express ar you using.
That error message is partly related to a problem with your font folder.
Do you have your ME disk?
Cheers

Hey Peterm,

My outlook express is 6.0, I'm current. My font folder huh, I have no idea what you mean ... lol. I dont have a disk for ME, it came installed on my PC. Because I dont have a disk, will it be difficult to fix.

Also, I got the same message trying to open IE, would that be the same problem as Outlook Express.

Thank U !!!

OK 1st step is go to your control panel
Add remove programs
you should see internet explorer listed. Click on this then click on remove.
This should then give you 2 options to remove or to repair. Choose the repair option which should also repair Outlook express as they are both linked.

Peterm,

Thanks 4 your help with Outlook Express and IE, did what you said and it worked. But now theres a new problem with Outlook. Here is the error message I just got when trying to open Outlook Express: Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be loaded. I think I created this problem because I did a Disk Clean and more than likely deleted somethings that I had no business deleting. Also, the little Horn that was on my Systems Tray is gone to, but I still have sound coming from my speakers, any suggestions Peterm

Peterm

I just did a System Restore, it fixed the problem I just posted about Outlook Express, everything is back to where it should be. But by doing that, is this a short term fix or should I had waited for your to reply ...
