First I know that people are gonna say it'sa hardware problem.. but I have several of these same units and it only happens on the one machine. I've tried swoppng around the keyboard, the mouse, the radio, but it makes no difference... it behaves like it has a damaged cable... sometime keys on the keyboard don't work sometimes they act as if the key is stuck... the mouse moves around the screen at random and often refuses to stop on the button or link I wish to click... it also clicks on it's own as well... I've tried rematching and still no luck... but I connect up to my laptop or another pc... it's fine.

I've tried reinstalling windows... it was fine for about a week and it started again... I've scanned for viruses and spyware.. but only the usually annoyance so up like CoolWWWSearch and stuff... which I promptly removed... all my definitions are updated on a daily basis. If I restart the problem goes away for a few hours (sometimes)

Here is my HiJackThis log...

some programs can be just junk like for instance did you install this one

C:\Program Files\lg_fwupdate\fwupdate.exe

[KillCopy] C:\PROGRA~1\KillSoft\KillCopy\kcresume.exe /startup

is it necessary for these programs to run at start up

there are a few others

but you should rename your hijackthis to something else like

JHK.EXE

right click on hijack icon select rname then click rename it to JHK.EXE

then post new log

C:\Program Files\lg_fwupdate\fwupdate.exe is my DVD-RAM Firmware Updater... not vital as currently I am able to write all media... but does need to run when a new media standard is released so that I can update my drive. To be quite honest, I buy a new DVD-RAM every 12 months anyway so I can remove this...

[KillCopy] C:\PROGRA~1\KillSoft\KillCopy\kcresume.exe /startup is vital. KillCopy is a tool I use for verifying files I copy over the network. It has a host of additional features that I find useful, such as I can powerdown or restart during the middle of a copy session and it will just continue when the windows loads again. I have it running on each and every PC...

I will do the new hijackthis log this evening when I get home as this PC is at my home office.
