Click start then run, type regedit then press enter, click file, click export, the dot should be in all for export range, save the file

HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software to look for Symantec or Norton
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Software to look for Symantec or Norton
Delete the keys and confirm
Click start then run, type prefetch then press enter, click edit, select all, right click any file, click delete, confirm, reboot
Check security centre

I done what you said and its still there.
I know that the comdo firewall is working because it lists all the programs that are using the internet and so on.

Can you check for a Comodo update
Click start then run, type msconfig then press enter, click start up, look for anything Norton or Symantec, remove the ticks, click apply and reboot
Tick do not start the configuration utility when it gets to the desktop

There are no options at the bottom of my security centre but I turned it off through the network connections area.
Now it is sayin the same thing as before, that it cant find a firewall etc...
There are no updates for the comodo firewall...
