I have a Dell laptop (latitude cpi) with windows 98. When I boot up, I do not get a cursor. I can't use the touch pad or mouse. I can still navigate with with the key board. I do not have access to my windows 98 disk. I am trying to down load a driver (vmouse.vxd) from the internet but so far no success. How do I turn the cursor back on?

You need the synaptics touchpad driver for your model laptop. The driver also lets you use an external PS2 mouse.
