My lab group and I are doing experiments with Cosmic Rays. Unfortunately we are not able to import the analysis done in ROOT (a program by CERN) into Word or another word processor. I was hoping to approximate the graph's form by putting it into Excel, however I would need to create custom trendlines using cos(x)^2, cos(x), and a guassian distribution. Is it possible to create a custom trend? I cannot find anything about it one way or the other so far.

Thanks.
