[The Town Butcher]

Hey guys,
I'm using a Dell Latitude D610 laptop I purchased a year and a half ago through a college laptop program Gettysburg College offers (I'm a sophomore!). Unfortunately, this baby has been used for hours on end every single day and holds a lot of my school papers, pictures and favorite tunes. Every two months I burn these documents onto CDs and delete them, so as to free up space (and I still have well over half of my hard drive free as shown to me when I right-clicked "C:/"), but my computer is still starting up VERY slowly. I've gone into MSCONFIG and requested that only the very important programs (AIM and my mailbox, basically) start up when I turn my computer on, but it's still really lagging. I've AdAwared it and checked for viruses AND defragged and still nothing. I would really appreciate it if some nice being out there could help me out; my slow computer is making me late for classes and just really stressing me out. Thanks!
