Funny you should ask -- I have a SpeedTouch ADSL wireless router which has worked flawlessly since I got it, but I opted for a Belkin wireless card for my laptop around the same time and it gives me so much hassle I rarely use it unless I'm forced to when the grandkids visit and want to use the main PC.
Problem with wirelss adapters is choice, or lack of it -- everywhere I look they all seem to be Belkin models unless you have one shipped from the web.

Right well ok, but ive heard about these new 108mb data transfer wireless internet adapters, do u have to have a router that can also do that etc n are they much better tbh?

At the moment, barring fiber to the door scenarios, you can't get more than 80 mbps down, and it's often more like 20-40 mbps, so unless you're doing a lot of internal file transfer, it doesn't matter.
