For the last week or so i've been having trouble starting my computer. When i push in my start button (of course to start the computer) the computer turns on but for about 3 seconds then it shuts down. Sometimes it won't even turn on and i have the use the switch in the back of the computer to try and make it work. It worked up until today where now it won't turn on and even if i use the switch it still only goes on for 3 secs. Please help if you know anything! I suspect it might be my power source but i'm not sure.

to help others reply to your question
if you haven't mentioned it yet:
- what model of computer
- what os, XPpro or home
- how old is it

could be many things here, start with the easy end like using a dryair can to blow out the much and dust
