Battery learning program problem

I tried to intiate a program from my laptop's recovery disc called it's battery learning program, but then it said "Path not found-\misc\battery.txt"

"battery.txt" is not a program. It's just a text file which should open in Windows NotePad. (Windows needs to be running first, of course).
