I am running the newest version of Yahoo Messanger on Windows XP Pro. It worked fine but now when I open up Yahoo Messanger and move my mouse over to the log in screen to sign on, the minute the cursor touches the long in screen, it just disappears! I have uninstalled and reinstalled Yahoo Messanger but the same thing happens. Also, I cannot uninstall Yahoo Toolbar in add/remove. I click on the button and nothing happens. Anyone have any suggestions??

This will not help you solve your problem, but if you use more than one IM, you might try Trillian 3.1. Allows you to connect to AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ and any IRC at the same time.
I don't use Win XP, but there are users who have their icons disappear and are having other problems with Yahoo's Messenger. Will see if I can track down an answer for you, but hopefully someone with the solution will post here before that.

Thanks Major Payne. I had not heard of Trillian before getting on here. I will check that out. Sounds like it will enable me to chat with my sister on yahoo messanger until I can figure my problem out!
